Insights for Risks Associated with Cloud Traffic

Risk Insights refers to the general process of analyzing the network traffic information sent to Netskope regardless of data source, and can be useful when tracking events from Real-time Protection, API-enabled Protection, or other Netskope services.  Enterprises can leverage Netskope’s Risk Insights to routinely assess the risk associated with any cloud traffic, and develop specific reports, queries, and dashboards to monitor potential cloud threats in their environment and adjust their security posture appropriately.

CONCEPTS

• Understand how information is recorded and posted to the Netskope console in the form of “Events”
• Understand the difference between the three basic types of events created to Skope IT™: Page, Application, and Alerts
• Understand the basic aggregation views provided in the Netskope tenant

SKILLS

• Be able to leverage Skope IT™ filtering tools and query language to create custom searches/filters/queries
• Be able to create custom widgets using the Netskope query language and chart options in the Reports section
• Be able to export and schedule collection of Report results via the Netskope UI
• Be able to export events directly from Skope IT™ via the Netskope UI or REST API
