Netskope client dropping connection on Mac when idle / sleeping

Hi, i am having an issue on mac devices. When i am away from my device for a period of time (normally an hour) i will have to re authenticate via OKTA to outlook and teams, i have worked out this is because my netskope client is somehow dropping connection and as a result im coming from my home IP address which isnt allowed on the Microsoft end. Has anyone else noticed this behaviour, i have seen a battery setting on the Mac that i think will fix it but i just wondered if this was common.

Uptick in "Error code = 0x80010106"

Windows onlyWe noticed that starting last week we’ve been getting reports of a lot of windows agents where NPA is disabled and the Agent Config doesn’t update. A reboot solves this. We’ve never had a single issue with Windows endpoints in years, now this. Steering exception not working

Hello everyone,I have a very annoying problem with my Netskope Steering configuration.Domain bypass exceptions don't work.For example, I need to access a site under development, which allows access via IP filtering. As this site is in our exceptions, we're normally supposed to be able to access it with our classic public IP, so I've added it to the exceptions.But despite this, we arrive on the site with a netskope IP (163.x.x.x), which prevents access to the site.I'm a bit stumped at this point...Do you have any ideas?Thanks!

DLP on File Name

It seems as if creating DLP rules/profiles will not trigger on the name but only content. Does anyone know a way to address this? For example, I would love to have a couple dictionary entities that look for certain word NEAR certain words in a file name.ExampleDictionary 1: cat, dogDictionary 2: mouse, birdD0 NEAR D1 Filename: My cat and turtle.pptx (wont alert)Filename: My dog and bird.pptx (will alert)The content of both files has none of those words.

SAML - Forward Proxy | Unique SAML Entity ID for each Azure AD tenant.

Hello everyone,I've been pondering over a particular aspect of our SAML - Forward Proxy configuration and would appreciate some insights from the community. Specifically, I've noticed that the SAML Entity ID remains the same across all methods, whether it's IPSEC, GRE, Cloud Explicit Proxy, or Client Enrollment.This uniformity in SAML Entity ID across various methods has raised some concerns for me, particularly in relation to compatibility with Azure AD. As some of you may already know, Azure AD supports only a unique SAML Entity ID for each Azure AD tenant.Given this limitation, I'm curious about the rationale behind having a single SAML Entity ID for all methods within our SAML - Forward Proxy configuration. Has anyone encountered similar challenges with Azure AD integration due to this setup? If so, how have you addressed or worked around it?The goal is to only allow for the method “Client Enrollment” a specific Azure AD group. For that i will have two Enterprise Apps “Netskope Use

Error using ServiceNow Reporting with Netskope

When using Netskope on a Macintosh, an error occurs saving reports with the “Classic UI” that does not occur when using the most recent UI (Screenshot attached). Disabling Netskope gets rid of the problem. There is anecdotal reports of someone having this same problem on a Windows/Edge combination. I haven’t gathered enough data to create a Case with Netksope, so I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this phenomena. A Google search reveals two mentions of this error, but both talk about browser security. Both talk about Cross Site Forgery tokens. Filtering and Counting Files by Extension in Netskope

Hi everyone,I'm looking for a way to create a filter in Netskope that focuses only on the file extension, disregarding the full file name.Objective:My goal is to analyze the volume of files with specific extensions that are being used in our environment. For example, I have a list of extensions like .csv, .xls, and .jpg, and I want to understand how many files of each type are being accessed.Challenge:In Advanced Analytics, I can only see the complete object name. I'd like to know if it's possible to create a custom field that captures only the file extensions. This would allow me to count and visualize the volume of each file type in a dashboard or report.Example:An ideal report would display the volume of files per extension over a specific period. For instance, in the last 7 days, there were 50 .pdf files uploaded, 20 .xls files, and 2 .jpg files.I hope I have explained my need clearly. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

DLP documentation out of date for Entities

I need to modify the default DLP profile for profanity as we have a user with a last name that matches the profanity profile. I raised a helpdesk ticket to follow the steps mentioned in https://docs.netskope.com/en/netskope-help/data-security/data-loss-prevention/dlp-entity/ to copy the Entity. However, I noticed that in the later releases of Netskope, the Entity tab was renamed to "Dictionary" and is different from the old Entity. Can anyone guide me on how to copy and modify the default profanity profile?

IDE IntelliJ(Java and spring) Error NPA resolve name

Hello Community,My developers use the IntelliJ IDE to develop, as our environment is 100% cloud, we use NPA to access the development environments. We use spring as a framework for our applications.My error is the following for some endpoints I simply cannot connect using IntelliJ and spring. If I do a curl or telnet I can access the endpoint normally, only IntelliJ and spring can't. Jumpcloud Client Deployment for Windows using Okta as IDP

We are looking for a way to deploy the Netskope Client for Windows using Jumpcloud and Okta as our IDP source. We’ve found a few articles for how to do this for macOS with Jumpcloud as the IDP but nothing for Okta.We’d like to set this up similar to our Kandji deployment for macOS where Okta serves as the identity provider. Only can access from local country IP

HiIn some countries, gov website can only access from local country IPs. Any IP assign outside of the country will deny access.As we are using 163.116.x.x, user resides in that country was unable to access too. How can we remediate this use case?thank
