Q: Do you have any book or links for reading materials needed to perform at my duties professionally?
A: In relation to this topic specifically, we have a corresponding Community post for the three products we discussed during the presentation that talk about how we use layered protections for SaaS Applications as well as recommendations.
- Security posture for Workday application at Netskope
- Security posture for Github application at Netskope
- Security posture for Salesforce application at Netskope
Docs.Netskope is also a great place to get additional information and use cases.
Q: Can Netskope be applied together with SIEM and EDR tools like Sentinel One?
A: Absolutely! Our Netskope One platform is integrated with our EDR system and we do export logs to our SIEM. The majority of our alerts, much like any other SOC, come through our SIEM.
Q: Does this work with Snowflake? What about Origami?
A: These aren't listed as supported SaaS applications directly as far as our API connections. Real-time policies and, in general, DLP policies will work. However, you will miss the SSPM portion for both of these.
The team can always try and prioritize API connectors to new SaaS applications which are not already supported so it is possible.
Q: What can Netskope do with High Risk Users/Departing Users?
A: Great question! We have quite a few processes that we've put in place that leverage the Netskope One platform capabilities, including Endpoint DLP with read only, blocking USB access, monitoring all activity, etc.
We will consider this as a topic for future webinars in our Inside Netskope series!
