Dear All

Does Netskope’s SSE solution can coach if sensitive data gets moved into Whatsapp, Telegram, desktop apps? If yes, from where I can define the (Whatsapp/Telegram) desktop application to be use on the real-time policies? Thank You

Hi . Due to the encryption used by those apps, we cannot detect sensitive data movement on them (and no other vendor can). For WhatsApp, we can however detect activities such as Upload and Download, and the sizes of the files being transferred. You could create real-time policies based on those activities.

Using Tuvis (a Netskope partner) you should be able to pass any text messages, files, videos and audios through your DLP and also store it for further investigation.
