Team,

Good evening.

I followed the instructions below, but Netskope only creates a “TenantAdmin” role in the console using SSO. Is there a way to utilize the other roles created in Netskope, such as “DelegatedAdmin” and “Compliance Officer,” etc.? I can log into Netskope using an SSO account created in Azure with no problem. The issue is the account always shows up as “TenantAdmin” for the role.

Thanks.

Hi Mate, beyond Step 9 they mentioned that custom role in Azure/Entra you are able to create custom role based on the roles in Netskope probably you can check it out to configure.

Cheers!

Thanks for the update.

I was able to create the roles successfully, but there may be a mapping issue. Did you have any problems getting the roles to sync?

It should work and reflect once the administrator attempts to login to the portal with the relevant role since it is using SAML to SSO in. If not probably can get some assistance from Netskope support to have a quick look but most probably if the configuration is done properly it should work properly for each individual admin with relevant role.

Thanks for the update. I opened a ticket with Netskope for tomorrow. I’m curious what the issue could be. I will update my post after I meet with support.

More to come.
