During the internal discussions around Real-time Protection Policies, the question came up about leveraging a the process of exporting "All Policies as JSON" as a potential backup/restore point of the our Real-time Protection Policies. Has anyone had similar conversations, use-cases, needs? Just curious how the JSON export could be used.

Greetings @AlfaBane. You can manually export your real-time policies into CSV or JSON format today; but that's all. There is no REST API endpoint for RTP creation so restoration is not possible. RAPI for RTP is slated for development but there is no ETA.

To perform the manual backup, login to your tenant and navigate to Policies > Real-Time Protection. Once there, click the export button at the top right of the policy table.
