Saw this but it doesn’t have clear info on how we can set identifier for different attributes of printer.
https://docs.netskope.com/en/constraint-profile/

Does anyone know how to regulate the printer yet?

Hi @AllenWu

Printer Device Control is available for Endpoint DLP on both Windows and macOS. The team covered “

  • Endpoint DLP Printer Content Control Support for AIP/MIP Sensitivity Labels “

topic in last months product webinar. Here’s the recap video (15:29):

I hope this help. You may also contact your account team for more information and details on this.

@AllenWu

The UI includes details on the supported identifiers:

The identifier field is fairly flexible in what it will accept as different manufacturers will present their printer name/identifier differently.    You can also grab the identifier, UNC path, etc from the SkopeIT Endpoint logs as well.

Hi Sam,

Tbh, we are not sure if there is any specific format for different attributes.

For example, can we just simply input “hp” as identifier of Manufacturer?

Not much info is given on docs.netskope.com, on console, or in that webinar.
