Objective

Allow only specific Youtube videos

Prerequisite

Netskope SWG license is required

Context

The customer has implemented a Global Block Policy for YouTube, but they have expressed a need to whitelist specific YouTube videos.

Configuration

• Step 1 - Create an allowlist Youtube_Allowlist

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies --- Profiles --- Web >>> URL List >>> New URL List

• Step 2 - Create an allowlist - Youtube_Blocklist

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies --- Profiles --- Web >>> URL List >>> New URL List

• Step 3 - Create a Custom Category and add the Allowlist / Blocklist

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies --- Profiles --- Web >>> Custom Category >>> New Custom Category

• Step 4 - Add a Realtime Policy

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies >>> Real-time Protection
