Objective

Allow only specific Youtube videos

Prerequisite

Netskope SWG or Next-Gen SWG license

Context

The customer wants to block general access to YouTube but allow access to a few selected videos.

Configuration

• Step 1 - Create a URL list

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies >>> Profiles --- URL List >>> New URL List

URL List Name: Youtube_Allowlist

• Step 2 - Create one more URL list

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies >>> Profiles --- URL List >>> New URL List

URL List Name: Youtube_Blacklist

• Step 3 - Create a Custom Category

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies >>> Profiles -- Custom Category >>> New Category

URL List (Include): Youtube_Blacklist

URL List (Exclude): Youtube_Allowlist

• Step 4 - Add a Realtime Protection Policy

Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies >>> Real-time Protection >>> New Policy
