Netskope Cloud Exchange (CE) v7.0.0 is NOW GA

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce Netskope Cloud Exchange (CE) v7.0.0 GA with the following new features and enhancements:

1. CE Copilot

• AI Powered UI/UX with Guided and Conversation modes for CE Module/Plugin Configuration & Management.

• Holistic Posture Assessment for optimized troubleshooting.

• LLM Provider Support for Claude Sonnet and Opus models with UI tracking for cost & token usage.

2. Universal/Unified Schema Phase 1 (CTE + CRE)

• Enriched security context through cross correlation of CTE and CRE telemetry driving:

  • CTE sharing to NTSK destination profile, DNS profile etc., using CRE security context (users, apps, devices)

  • CRE actions at NTSK like UCI impact, private app tag, device tagging/classification using CTE security context (malicious file hashes & URLs)

  • Empowers NTSK, CE, 3rd party administrators to enforce zero trust security policies based on enriched CTE + CRE context.

3. Automated CRE Entity Field Mapping

• CE administrators can now take advantage of AI assisted CRE Entity & Field Mapping feature for Cloud Risk Exchange (CRE) plugin configuration that automatically maps every field between NTSK and 3rd Party CRE plugins with a single click.

• CRE Auto-Mapper now suggests accurate field mappings along with the reasoning behind each suggestion, letting users review, adjust, and confirm them before anything is saved, significantly speeding up plugin setup.

4. AWS Secrets Manager

• Improve CE’s security posture through centralized credential storage, rotation and compliance for AWS-hosted estates, alongside the existing options (HashiCorp & Azure Key Vault)

5. DLPx (EDM & CFC GA)

• Designed to enhance an organization's Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program by integrating with corporate data sources to identify and protect sensitive information. The module is built on two primary workflows:

  • Exact Data Match (EDM): Focuses on structured sensitive data protection, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) like credit card numbers, social security numbers, and health insurance numbers from CSV files or databases.

  • Custom File Classification (CFC): Focuses on unstructured sensitive data protection to identify and classify image files like driving license or medical scan reports.

6. Security Updates

• Customers are strongly recommended to upgrade/migrate to CE v7.0.0 to protect their digital ecosystem against eMudhra Intermediate CA compromise. Please refer to the following articles for more details:
