Is anyone experiencing problems with Next Gen when it comes to policies for Google Workspace. Not sure if it is just me but it seems that I have had multiple things that don’t seem to work or just is not available. An example I created a policy to take action on specific resource IDs (not sure why Netskope is not using the Google Document ID) but the policy did not find the document at all. Did this with support on the line and they did not know when it was not working. I cannot create a policy to apply to specific owners I only have the all owners in the Collaboration section.

I feel like this has not been through any QA testing for Google Workspace at all.

Hi @fpegus, I understand your frustration. We released the owner functionality for SharePoint and GDrive. You can create a policy using owner field now. We had an option for collaborators before because generally the use case is around - “I want to scan all documents where Michael is the collaborator and it’s exposed externally” vs “I want to scan all documents owned by Michael and it’s exposed externally”. Now you can scan both of these use cases but we have found the former to be more broadly used.

For Resource ID, yes, you can scan specific resources via resource ID scan. Search for resource ID on this page - https://docs.netskope.com/en/policy-matching-evaluation to learn about how it works. Please feel free to ask questions, we can connect offline as well.
