When I look at my Slack Channels some have “FC:” in the front of then name (e.g. FC:F063A1D5X9A:Test). What does FC mean?
I was able to figure out that “DM” = direct message and “MPDM” = multi person direct message. I don’t see these defined in any Netskope documents though..

Any idea from Netskope? Thx
The meaning of each prefix I researched is as follows. I hope this helps.
| Prefix | Full Name | Description |
| FC | Federated Channel / Shared Channel | A channel that is connected and shared between two separate Slack workspaces (companies). |
| C | Public Channel | A standard public channel within a single workspace. |
| G | Private Channel | A standard private channel within a single workspace. |
| DM | Direct Message | A one-on-one conversation. |
| MPDM | Multi-Person Direct Message | A private group conversation (up to 9 people). |
Thats awesome, thx.
