Basically I want to write a report for the # of users of AI applications, including public Chat GPT  vs the Corporate ChatGPT (which is only available via authentication but on the Internet)

I have added it as an app in the Steering Configurations and it shows up separately as an App in SKOPEIT, but I can’t add it to the catalog category.  Is the answer to add a custom web Category and generating enough traffic for page events?

Hi @wilson ,

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, adding a custom web category is definitely a great solution. Once the custom category is added and traffic is generated, it will be returned in the “Other Category” field in Advanced Analytics, which can be used to identify corporate vs. public ChatGPT usage.

Since the corporate ChatGPT is only available via authentication in your environment, another solution is to use “Instance ID.” By applying “Instance ID” as a filter and setting it to “contains/doesn’t contain [your company name],” you can identify corporate vs. public ChatGPT usage as well.

Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Aaron
