The Netskope Threat Labs have published the May report dedicated to Brazil. The key findings can be summarized in:
- Regulated data remains the primary risk driver: Data policy violations across both genAI and personal applications are largely driven by regulated data, which account respectively for 63.7% and 66%.
- AI adoption is universal, but governance is still evolving: GenAI adoption has reached 100% of organizations in Brazil, with user adoption also rising significantly from 50% to 71%.
- Threats and risks are blending into trusted platforms: Attackers are leveraging widely trusted cloud services to distribute malware, with GitHub and OneDrive leading the pack with 10.7%.
