Verbally, Netskope indicates that installation of client on servers because the client is dependent on login for policy.

I am looking for that documented.   Has anyone seen that?

I don’t know of any specific docs.

As far as I know though, the client tunnel will not connect until a user is logged on with one exception: prelogon tunnel for NPA.

Not sure what your specific use case is here, but if you are looking to steer IoT or non-user web traffic it may be worth exploring IPSEC/GRE.

Hi @wilson ,

NS client can be deployed on Windows server environment using UPN mode or IDP mode so that server admin user logins can be detected and policies can be applied at proxy level accordingly for every server admins uniquely.
