Netskope URL Categories: A Practical Toolkit for Policy Validation

Objective
The objective of this document is to provide a list of sample URLs that customers can utilize to validate real-time policies applied to Netskope's predefined URL categories.

Details
- As of Oct 10, 2024 Netskope has ~131 predefined URL categories. Ref. - Link
- There are situations when customers require test URLs to validate policy outcomes. For instance, Netskope includes a predefined category for Social Media. If a customer creates a policy for the URL category ‘Social’, they can easily access common destinations like Facebook and Instagram. However, testing policies for categories such as Unreachable, Uncategorized, Weapons, or Web Analytics can be more challenging, as suitable destinations may not be readily apparent. To assist our customers, Netskope provides a list of test URLs that can be used for policy validation. The list is as follows:
