Context
A customer might want to stop all web search engines, this document provides guidance on implementing Netskope best practices to effectively block access to all web search engines.
Do You Know?
- Netskope has categorized all Search Engines applications under a predefined URL category called 'Search Engines', offering streamlined management and control for customers.
- As of June 03, 2025, Netskope has identified a total of 133 applications within the URL category 'Search Engines'
Configuration
- Create a Realtime protection policy

- Before rolling out this policy widely, test it first with a small group of users.
- Keep in mind that with this policy in place, users must enter the exact and complete website address, as search engines will no longer be able to correct or suggest alternatives.
