Context
A user notification that clearly articulates the reasons for access restriction and offers guidance on whom to contact for assistance in gaining access.
Configuration
Path: Netskope Tenant UI >>> Policies --- Templates --- User Notification >>> Add Template >>> Cloud App & Web
Template Name – Access Restricted
Logo – Select ‘Large’ and Select your company logo
Title – ‘ACCESS TO THE URL IS RESTRICTED’
Message – You have tried to access a restricted website. If you believe access is necessary for business purposes, please contact the IT Team via Service Desk Portal and provide the following details:
User Email - {{NS_USER}}
Application Name - {{NS_APP}}
Category Name - {{NS_CATEGORY}}
Activity Name - {{NS_ACTIVITY}}
Policy Name - {{NS_POLICY_NAME}}
URL - {{NS_URL}}
Footer Message - YOUR INTERNET ACTIVITY IS BEING MONITORED AND RECORDED
Redirect – As per your choice of webpage (Optional Setting)

- Access to Facebook is blocked so I added the below Realtime Protection Policy with ‘Action – Block’ and ‘Template - Access Restricted’
- End-user tried accessing Facebook and received the below message
