Allow only specific Youtube channel videos

Netskope Next-Gen SWG license

Context

The customer has implemented a Global Block Policy for YouTube, but they have expressed a need to whitelist specific YouTube channels.

Do You Know?

• Netskope acknowledges Youtube as a Cloud Application and provides a pre-defined cloud app connector.
• As of June 02, 2025 with Netskope’s Youtube predefined connector, customers can exercise control over the following activities -

Configuration

• Step 1 - Specify the YouTube Channel Instance Name that requires whitelisting

• Step 2 - Create a CCI App tag for Youtube

• Step 3 - Add a Realtime Protection Policy
