Check out some customer questions below, or feel free to comment and continue the discussion!
Q: Do users need admin permission to install?
A: Users do not need local admin rights to install Enterprise Browser. It will work when deploying by MDM and for BYOD devices, follow the email enrollment method.
Q: Hi team, thanks for your time! Our org uses conditional access to block access if users are on a noncompliant device. If they are overseas and can’t access email from an unmanaged device, how can we get them access to the browser?
A: Our recommendation would be having a hosted external portal where users can authenticate to get the installer and key request.
Q: Can the Enterprise Browser email template be updated to include company specific logos?
A: Yes, to change the template for email please go to Settings > Enterprise Browser > User Provisioning > Email templates.
Q: Does Enterprise Browser app work on Google Chromebooks?
A: The Netskope Enterprise Browser is available for Chrome OS, providing a secure browsing experience on par with the Enterprise Browser desktop offering. This feature allows:
- Unified Policy Management: Manage policies for Chrome OS users from the same Netskope console used for all other devices.
- Deep Contextual Controls: Define rich, contextual policies based on the user, device state, and their actions.
Q: Can you run the MacOS deployment through Intune? If so, do you have documentation for that deployment?
A: We don't have any documentation on this process as we don't use Intune for our Macs, but can confirm the same principles would work deploying to a Mac via Intune. Instead, we will be leveraging bash scripts similar in the Kandji guidance.
