⭐️ Customer Favourite This Month: Firewall as a Service (FWaaS)

Netskope Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) provides cloud-delivered firewall protection for egress traffic through the Netskope One platform. By connecting users and offices to Netskope NewEdge, organizations get consistent application access and security policy enforcement without relying on traditional hardware appliances. Netskope FWaaS improves security posture, reduces operational costs, eliminates latency caused by traffic backhauling, and closes security blind spots created by direct-to-internet.

Here is a list of key FWaaS features :

1. SOCKS Proxy - Netskope One SOCKS5 Proxy provides secure and flexible connectivity for non-web TCP applications and traffic (e.g., FTP, FTPS, SFTP, Telnet, RDP, SSH) and originating from controlled environments. Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) is a prerequisite for this solution.

2. DLP for Non-Web - Enables inspection of non-web traffic like FTP to detect and prevent potential data exfiltration, with support for the FTP protocol. It provides data-in-motion DLP analysis for FTP traffic, allowing organizations to identify sensitive data transfers in real time. Integrated incident management and remediation capabilities ensure rapid response, investigation, and enforcement of data protection policies across non-web channels.

3. DNSaaS - Provides customers with DNS resolution capabilities, DNS based security, and a complete set of DNS based content filtering.

4. DNS Security REST API - The DNS Security REST API enables customers to easily automate DNS security configuration and management.

5. TSS for Non-web (Future release) - Netskope TSS for Non-Web enables customers to identify and prevent threats in non-web traffic, with support limited to FTP.
