Enhanced Third-Party App Permission Visibility (SSPM)
Keeping tabs on the third-party apps plugged into your SaaS environment just got easier: SSPM now shows when each app was discovered and verified, and gives you a clear current-versus-removed view of the permissions it holds.
Business Value:
- See third-party risk at a glance: As third-party involvement in breaches has climbed to 30%, an at-a-glance history of app permissions helps your team prioritize reviews where exposure is greatest — without manual spreadsheet tracking.
- Turn posture into action: Clear before-and-after permission views make it simple to justify removing an app or tightening its access, supporting both security and audit conversations.
Technical Value:
- Discovery and verification timestamps: Filterable Discovered Time and Verified Time columns tell you how long an app has been present and when it was last checked.
- Current vs. Removed permissions: A redesigned side panel tracks active and removed permissions with timestamps and time-period filtering, so permission drift is easy to follow.
AI Guardrails Usage Tracking & Visibility
AI Guardrails now reports tenant-wide scan usage: total monthly licensed scans, consumed scans, and month-over-month consumption trends.
Business Value:
- Govern what you can’t see: Among organizations reporting an AI-related breach, 97% lacked proper AI access controls and shadow AI added about USD 670,000 to breach cost. Usage visibility is the first control to regain.
- Plan on evidence: With 63% of organizations still without a formal AI governance policy, trend data gives leadership a defensible basis for provisioning and policy tuning.
Technical Value:
- Tenant-wide metering: Licensed versus consumed scan counts are aggregated across all licensed users, placing entitlement and real usage side by side.
- Trend analytics: Monthly consumption trends surface growth early, so teams can adjust guardrail policy before limits are reached.
Clientless Remote Browser Isolation (Self-Service Isolation Portal)
Clientless RBI adds a Self-Service Isolation Portal that lets users reach risky or uncategorized websites through a remote, isolated browser—no Netskope client required. Web content executes away from the endpoint and only a safe visual stream is delivered.
Business Value:
- Neutralize web-delivered threats: Exploitation of vulnerabilities appeared in about 20% of breaches, up roughly a third year over year. Rendering risky sites remotely keeps active web content off the endpoint entirely.
- Contain fast-moving intrusions: With adversary breakout timed around 29 minutes, isolating unknown destinations removes an early foothold before it can spread.
Technical Value:
- Clientless isolation via portal: Users launch isolated sessions from a self-service portal, extending coverage to unmanaged or client-less scenarios.
- Remote rendering: Pages execute in the isolated environment and are streamed to the user, so exploits and malicious scripts never touch the local device.
