Hello, Everyone!   It feels good to reach out to each and every one of you, our cherished Netskope community members, through this blog post. Today, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt hello and express our gratitude for your unwavering support, engagement, and vibrant contributions. Your presence has made our community a thriving hub of knowledge, inspiration, and connection.     This upcoming Monday, June 19th, is Juneteenth! Hi,My name is Neil and I've been on the Netskope journey since the beginning of 2023. I'm based in beautiful, sunny Brisbane, Australia. I have been in the network & security arena for a long time and it's been a long & winding path. After working in the 'pure' networking field until 2010ish, I did some work with a large global company to implement application acceleration across WANs and the Internet, as well as related performance monitoring. That was the start of my working with application behaviour; whether it be how to speed apps up, what's causing them to go slow, user interactions and if/how the apps are secured (or not). Around 2020, I got into data analytics (observability) to provide insights mostly related to infrastructure and security ingest types.  Netskope provides an exciting confluence of where I've come from.   Hey there! 👋   The Community team is excited to share that on Monday, April 17, 2023, the Netskope Community is getting a much needed makeover!  🙌   Netskope believes in the value of community — and that's why our team has invested a lot of time and effort fixing and improving the UI/UX issues on this site.  We're excited to get this first release delivered to you next week.  After we push the new site live, we'll incrementally push out new releases based on your feedback... but more on that part next week.   Here’s what you need to know: In order to push the new site into production, the Netskope Community will be down for a few hours in the wee hours of the morning on Monday (for those of us in the Eastern time zone, that is.) I've been at Netskope for two and a half years now, joined the company as a Customer Success Manager to help customers here in Brazil. The community team is pleased to announce the redesign of the Netskope Community!  We’ve been working hard to improve your experience and now it’s finally time to show it off.  Our new design is aimed at elevating your user experience and providing you with the tools you need to foster meaningful connections with your peers.  This new and improved version includes the following updates:   New Homepage: One of the most significant updates you'll notice is our revamped home page. We've streamlined the layout to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for, while also adding new sections that showcase our most popular content. Our featured post section, for example, highlights the latest and greatest discussions happening within the community, ensuring you never miss out on the most relevant conversations.     1. Next week we're rolling out our long awaited revamp of the documentation portal, docs.netskope.com! This is Phase 1, and the key focus areas are: Faster page load Quicker search response Faster doc updates While you'll notice very little difference visually, we rebuilt the back end from the ground up.  "So what?" you might ask. Well, no more getting a cup of coffee while you wait for the page to load! We're using a new platform, and we've also streamlined everything, so page load times have significantly improved. Also, the search works. Need we say more? There's nothing you need to do, as the URLs all remain the same. Just visit the site next week and revel in the phenomenal performance. If you notice anything odd, submit your feedback via docs.netskope.com.
